This Friday was one of those days when everything falls so perfectly into place. Lailah and I decided to take a trip to the zoo, and she was such a good girl, and we had so much fun.

Rat Fink 2013 "Detour"

While attending the Rat Fink Reunion this year, I did find a little time to take off and visit an abandoned house that i have been to before. Each time I go there I see things I didn't see before. The house, though completely dilapidated and reaking of bat guano and who knows what else, still breathes, shallow, and it's walls still whisper.

Time in these areas reminds me so much of my childhood.

Rat Fink Reunion 2013

Rat Fink Reunion 2013; Wow, what an awesome 3 Days. In the 7 years we have attended the reunion, this year was so much more than it has ever been. It was so nice getting to meet more of the Rat Fink family and enjoy their company, and also getting to know more about Ed. I had a teacher who once said - "live your life being the person you want to be remembered as when you are no longer here". From all accounts Ed Roth seemed to be an exemplary model of that philosophy. His spirit seems to live on in all those who knew him, the Rat Fink Family, and also in all of the people who enjoy the things he created. Already looking forward to next year.
